...Sevllla

In case I haven't already put this down somewhere, the first weekend we went to a beach called Cadiz and although I knew Europe had nude or topless beaches I don't think I realized how common a practice it was.  At first there really were not very many people participating in this practice but after the first few hours, about 60% of the women were only wearing bottoms.  This can be very uncomfortable at first but you actually get used to it very quickly.  I thought it was interesting that when you are on the street guys will make lots of comments and be very bold about looking at women but it is against their culture to look at women on the beach or make any kind of comments etc. I almost felt safer/more comfortable when I was there than when I am here.  I found this interesting because I think it is the opposite way in the states.

I think I am making some progress in communicating with my Senora (the Spanish lady I live with.  We talked a little bit about school today which isn't lots of progress but it is something.  She does like talking about her dog-a pug named Curo.

Well I went to Spanish version of Snowhite and the Huntsman last night, but surprisingly understood quite a bit.  If you have to go and see a movie in another language I highly recommend going to see a movie where you already know the plot and there is more action than conversation.

I am excited for upcoming trips.  This next weekend there are four of us going to Morocco with a travel company called Discover Seville, which should be lots of fun and I am excited to ride a camel.
